Digital Visitor and Audio Guide Launched at Arktikum in Early 2025

The goal of the digital guide is to reduce printed materials and better reach visitors of different nationalities.

“We want our guests to truly learn about Lapland and the Arctic region when they visit Arktikum. Visitors come from all over the world, and having access to information in their own language is a huge advantage for them. This is now possible with the digital guide,” says Hannele Koskiniemi, CEO of Arktikum-service Co.

By scanning a QR code, visitors can access content in 28 different languages. The audio guide is included in the admission ticket and is therefore free of charge for visitors.

In addition to a map and practical information, the guide features an audio guide with 15 different audio stories related to the exhibition content. QR codes can be found in various locations throughout Arktikum. Visitors can use the guide via a web browser or download the app to their phone if they prefer.

The platform for Arktikum’s visitor and audio guide is provided by the Finnish startup company Reveel. Their goal is to modernize visitor experiences at attractions and offer a ready-to-use digital solution.

“Reveel has helped us enhance our customer experience, and thanks to AI, we can provide information in more languages than ever before. Our collaboration with Reveel has been smooth, and we appreciate their customer-oriented approach. Additionally, the digital application is easy to update, and the feedback so far has been positive. We can warmly recommend Reveel to other visitor attractions as well,” Koskiniemi adds.
